Just Thinking: The best quote of the day "every time you hit SEND you’re issuing a press release.” which is true on Twitter, Facebook or just texting in general.

What do you think?
The quote above actually came from a commenter on a Mashable.com article that talks about a heated exchange on Twitter between a fan and the Kansas City Chiefs social media person.

The commenter said in reply to another commenter "Social media is a double-edged sword. It’s possibly the sharpest and most ineptly-wielded double-edged sword in the history of marketing. I believe it was someone else from the football world who said (and he may have been quoting someone else, I confess) that ‘every time you hit SEND you’re issuing a press release.”

By the way, getting back to that story on a heated exchange between a fan and the KC Chiefs social media person, my comment was "While Wright’s first tweet wasn’t a good idea at all and might need a fact check. I believe that another fan or someone not associated with the KC chiefs should have been the one to speak up, and not the KC chiefs social media person. That social media person got exactly what he deserved especially after blocking him and the tweets for nothing really. The chiefs including the social media person needs to unblock Wright and apologize for there actions. Next time if the man wants to speak, he should use his personal twitter account and not the a billion-dollar brand one. Time is ticking, The KC Chiefs need to fix this now, otherwise they risk more damage to the brand and to their fan base."
