Wow that was impressive, who know that the repaving of Kansas Speedway would create such a good race. But for Ricky Stenhouse Jr. it was a long day that went from wrecking early on with Joey Logano to come back from 2 laps to down and passing Kyle Busch on the last lap (when Busch ran out of gas coming off turn 4 coming to the checkers) to win the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kansas Speedway.
- I will say one thing, while Joey Logano had a right be upset and let's face it angry at Ricky Stenhouse Jr. for the early wreck. I thought that Logano's actions towards Stenhouse Jr. including a hit on pit road, followed by one or two hits on-track and another after the race was overkill and was uncalled for. If he wants to voice his displeasure, that's fine, one or two hits on pit road followed by a talk in a few days would have been enough. Just saying and I'm not impressed at all.
But when it comes to the championship, its Ricky Stenhouse Jr. that gained a few points on the point leader Elliott Sadler (who finished 4th). With 3 races to go (Texas, Phoenix and Homestead), this should a good championship to watch. And the #18-Joe Gibbs Racing is outfront in the owners points over the #2 and #6.
